The idea behind this fragrance was to tell with the olfactory notes how little it is, at times, to speak and how important concreteness and action are. Gualtieri's muse wanted to be Marco Giunio Bruto, the Roman senator known for his lack of eloquence, but always decisive and brutal when he served. From a conceptual and olfactory point of view, Gualtieri wanted to create something controversial, just like nature, which on the one hand is brutal and on the other beautiful and perfectly balanced.
Brutus, on the other hand, is a fragrance that, contrary to his name, turns out to be very elegant, affectionate and delicate, decisive and not very changeable, putting the concept of attraction and repulsion in perfect balance. Brutus captures the moment and does not change, it represents the moment that consecrates life. It is the essence of life demonstrating that every life is a matter of a single moment, the moment in which one becomes aware of oneself and understands who one really is. The key sensations of this fragrance are: elegant brutality, frankness and the harmony of contradiction.
The cap, as in all Orto Parisi fragrances, is solid and heavy, made of metal and subjected to different alchemical processes, embellished with an inlay that is different each time, composed of elements of natural origin and selected on the basis of the fragrance. In the case of Brutus it is made of heavy metal with a copper finish and adorned with a walnut shell inlay, a natural material that is very hard and perceived as unbreakable.
