“An overdose of Rose Absolute”
In 2016, Aurélien Guichard founded an organic farm where he grows centifolia rose (Ecocert®) in the Grasse region. He is the only perfumer to cultivate his own centifolia rose.
Following family and regional know-how, he cultivates thousands of roses on an exceptional terroir, recognized in 2018 as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity by UNESCO.
In 2019, the first grams of Assoluta arrived on Aurélien's desk.
Centifolia rose absolute from France has become the central ingredient of the new perfume, Radical Rose.
Aurélien wanted to work on the highest concentration in the world of rose centifolia absolute and enhance its bright and spicy facets with saffron and allspice oil. He then underlined its dark and woody facets with Indonesian patchouli oil and Andalusian labdanum absolute.
