Luminescent Eye Shades are pearlescent, light-catching eyeshadows that wash the eye with multi dimensional shimmer. These six iridescent earth tones were created to pay tribute to—and to benefit—six of Africa’s most endangered, vanishing species: the elephant, rhinoceros, cheetah, giraffe, lion and pangolin. All of these wild animals face common threats from shrinking habitats, conflict with humans, and illegal poaching, which make their long-term survival uncertain.

This gel-powder formula is infused with sophisticated pure-pearl particles to create a wash of color with a dash of dazzle on the e yelid. Talc-free and utterly blendable, the shades have an emollient, smooth application and set with a featherweight cream-like finish that never falls or creases.

This launch is an exciting addition to Chantecaille’s philanthropy collection—and the first exclusively for eyes. A portion of Chantecaille’s proceeds from each shade will give back to the important work of six African wildlife conservation nonprofits, selected by the brand for their notable impact.

PANGOLIN DUSKY VIOLET | TIKKI HYWOOD FOUNDATION

This shy, unique creature is the most trafficked mammal on the planet, coveted for its keratin scales, which are falsely believed to have medicinal properties. The Tikki Hywood Foundation in Zimbabwe focuses on the rescue, rehabilitation and release of the pangolin and other illegally traded animals across Africa.

Apply with the flat side of Shade and Sweep Eye Brush to create a shimmering wash of color on the eyelid. Use the tapered side to blend and highlight the inner corner of the eye and the brow bone.
