Inspiration: neon structure by Lucio Fontana, a work carried out for the Milan Triennial exhibition in 1951. Today we can find its reconstruction on display in the Museo del Novecento. The fluorescence of this masterpiece makes it visible also during the metropolitan nights as a fixed appointment in Piazza Duomo, for those who also love the unstoppable frenzy of the city by night.
When visiting the Museo del Novecento, it is almost automatic to be left gazing into the air when faced with this celebrated installation. The work, hanging from an all-black ceiling, spreads in all possible dimensions and the wide windows of the room facing onto Piazza Duomo act as a mirror. The reflection creates a new artistic composition inspiring the name of this fragrance: 3D SUL DUOMO, the three-dimensional neon structure hovers just over the highest spire of the cathedral.
