This fragrance is inspired by the only pair of leather shoes handmade by Gualtieri's maternal grandfather, who fled from malaria-infested Puglia in the early 1900s to move to Genoa.

The cap, as in all Orto Parisi fragrances, is solid and heavy, made of metal and subjected to different alchemical processes, embellished with an inlay that is different each time, composed of elements of natural origin and selected on the basis of the fragrance. In the case of Cuoium it is in rusty metal, characterized by an original logo carved on vegetable tanned leather.
