Seminalis is a stimulus enclosed in a perfume bottle. Inspiration for Alessandro Gualtieri for the creation of this fragrance was a scientific study, which showed that human spermatozoa have a great sensitivity to certain odors. They are, in fact, attracted to the smell similar to that of lily of the valley released by female oocytes through an enzyme.
Seminalis is proof that life is an event triggered by a smell, that it is caused by a pure olfactory attraction. Seminalis represents, in the true sense of the word, the scent of life. It contains Bourgeonal, an aromatic aldehyde which, in reality, helps sperm locate the oocyte and thus generate new life. The watery note of Bourgeonal recalls lily of the valley, the only olfactory substance to which males react with greater sensitivity than females.
From an olfactory point of view, Seminalis is by far the most primitive of the fragrances of the Orto Parisi collection, with an extraordinary milky appearance and odor to symbolize the body secretions released when life is being created. Seminalis represents the smell responsible for the attraction of man to woman and therefore, symbolically, for the creation of a new life. The key sensations of this fragrance are: milky stimulus, semen, olfactory attraction, secretions, liquid love, the origin of life.
The cap, as in all Orto Parisi fragrances, is solid and heavy, made of metal and subjected to different alchemical processes, embellished with an inlay that is different each time, composed of elements of natural origin and selected on the basis of the fragrance. In the case of Seminalis it is made of heavy metal with a silver finish with a semi-transparent Bakelite inlay, symbolizing the bodily fluids that are released when a new life is being created.
