ESCENTRIC MOLECULES

Escentric 02 is centred around the elusive power of Ambroxan (13.5%), a nature-identical amber molecule known for its sensual, almost mineral smoothness. In Escentric 02, Ambroxan is combined with the aphrodisiac notes of green jasmine bud and a sparkling 'gin and tonic' accord. The composition is further elevated by a hint of Almdudler and, as the nose Geza Schoen describes, "that specific smell you get when you unwrap a new Apple laptop." Ambroxan is a lab-created crystal identical to ambrox, a substance originally derived from ambergris—one of the most valuable and mysterious materials in perfumery—expelled by the sperm whale.
